Claudia Frustaci and Laura Phelan are combining talents, experience, and passion to create a new salon, new brand, and new experience in Milford, MA.
After 20 years in the beauty industry, Italian-born and Hungarian-trained Claudia Frustaci has partnered with long-time colleague Laura Phelan to merge her CiaoBella Day Spa into the new CiaoBella Beauty Bar.
The experience will be a bit of West Coast and European flair here in Milford, MA. Both cultures (West Coast and Italy) are as different as they are the same—they share a love of simplicity, elegance, and exceptional quality. The CiaoBella Beauty Bar experience will be marked by jazz or classical music in an environment of relaxation adorned by well-thought design, combining elements of wood (nature) and gold, to achieve a feeling of "bright relaxation," as Frustaci says.
Says Frustaci, "We are using exclusive, high-end products like the R+Co and Cosmedix with the finest plant-based ingredients made with Nobel prize-winning chemistry. It's a luxurious approach to clean, professional hair and skin care."
Laura Phelan was born in Framingham and spent a decade in California perfecting her skills as a master stylist with hair and color. She returned to MA and practiced in Boston while partnering with the independent Claudia Frustaci for the last 15 years doing hair and makeup for high-end weddings.
Claudia Frustaci started her career working in Milan, Italy for runway models at fashion shows featuring the works of Prada and Armani. Claudia's ambition took her to the U.S. where she worked for Clinique, Lancome, Omorovitza as a business manager and freelancer. She is the co-owner of Ciao Bella Day Spa and Ciao Bella Beauty Bar as well as being actively involved with Armani Beauty and Yves Saint Laurent.
Make-up artist, Microblading Specialist, Master Esthetician and Designer, Claudia brings to Ciao Bella Beauty Bar 20 years of experience and elegance to a west coast inspired salon.
